& contract details

  • How do I prep for my makeup?
Let's make sure you're prepared! Arrive with a clean, makeup-free face + have a designated area where I can set up my equipment. But even before that, all booked clients get an exclusive KLM GlowGuide! It's your how-to on getting the most out of your KLM glam. From skincare gems to checklists, I want to make sure I give you your best experience yet!
  • What does a wedding trial entail?
A wedding trial is your secret weapon for ensuring your makeup is flawless, comfortable, and perfectly you. Here’s why it’s worth every moment: We get to know each other! I customize your vision I create a makeup design (thus minimizing stress on your big day!) We test the makeup on camera I get feedback on how to make your Wedding Day glam even better! Your wedding day is one of the most photographed and cherished moments of your life, so let's go in with a game plan!
  • How far in advance should I schedule a trial before my wedding day?
I recommend scheduling your wedding trial around 2-3 months before your wedding date. Changes in your makeup from trial day to wedding day are expected + welcomed! But booking 4+ months in advance may lead to changes that are influenced by trends. Book your trial on the same day as your engagement shoot so you can see how your makeup photographs. Ideally, you'd have your dress, hairstyle, and accessories finalized the makeup compliments it all!
  • Do you require a minimum for bookings?
Yes, I do! Beginning January 1, 2026, all Friday and Saturday weddings require a minimum of 1 celebrant + 3 faces to book your date. Additionally, the minimum is 1 celebrant + 2 faces for all Sunday bookings. You can meet the minimum by: Choosing a Celebrant Plus Party package if you have a wedding party (which are totally customizable!) Adding services to The Effortless Glam package, or Mixing + matching services with my À La Carte options Have questions or need help customizing your package? I’m happy to help!
  • How long does makeup take on one person?
That depends on who my client is! A KLM bride gets the royal treatment! Not only will you get a facial as part of your service, I pay attention to every detail including the décolleté. Each celebrant's application totals 90 minutes. Furthermore, I reserve 75 minutes for each wedding party member or parent. I have a pre-made brush set for each client so I can focus on giving my best without slowing down my timeline with cleaning in between each client (my brushes arrive clean + are always washed at home, of course!). The timing for all wedding clients include skin prep, makeup application, taking content, and 5 mins to reset. Otherwise, special occasion appointments require 90 mins from setup to breakdown.
  • How many people’s makeup can you do on your own?
When working solo, I can take up to 5 people total—1 celebrant + 4 wedding party members. This allows me to keep the quality of my work consistent + keep my sanity intact!
  • If I have a wedding party, do you take separate payments from each person?
I only take payment from one person, who's usually the marrier. If someone is financially helping out or if your wedding party is paying for their own services, please have them pay you privately!
  • Why does my makeup look different on camera vs. in-person?
This is a great question! Yes, it's important that you love your makeup in-person but understanding your photographer's editing style is key to knowing how your makeup will read on camera: A light + airy style will make the makeup look dramatically softer A sepia/desert look means the makeup will shift warmer on camera A bold, high contrast style will make makeup appear more dramatic A classic style with little presets means the makeup will photograph pretty true to eye Sharing this info with me will ensure you love your makeup not only in IRL but also the memories you will have forever! P.S. My soft glam style IS NOT a "no makeup-makeup" look! This isn't your everyday makeup - it needs to show up on camera!
  • What's the difference between each facial?
Allow me to break it down! 👇🏼 Signature Facial I'm pulling out all the stops for my celebrants! A full pampering session designed to not only prep you for long-wearing makeup, but to help you de-stress + de-puff on your most important day. This 30-min facial includes: Cleansing, exfoliation, NuFace microcurrent, face + eye masks, massage, + custom finishing products Express Facial Designed to get your skin makeup-ready while respecting your time. This 5-10 minute facial includes: Cleansing, face + eye masks, mini arm/hand massage + hydrating finishing products Essential Facial No glam goes without a solid skincare prep. Your wedding party will enjoy a 5-minute routine including cleansing + hydrating finishing products.
  • Do you offer hair services?
You'd be surprised how often clients assume I do hair! While I personally have yet to offer hair services, I have a team of experience hairstylists who I can add to any package. Just mention it in your inquiry!
  • How do I stay hygienic?
Hygiene is of the utmost importance! Rest assured all brushes, makeup, and skincare products are clean + ready to use as soon as I'm on-site. I gift my clients a new makeup sponge + powder puff that I use during their sole application. I don't reuse dirty brushes after I'm doing with that specific client. And brushes + tools arrive sanitized and are washed as soon as I get home. All makeup products are sprayed with 70% alcohol before + after each use to kill bacteria + germs. All loose powders are are depotted into bottles + dispensed on a palette to avoid direct contact with a makeup brush or sponge, therefore limiting cross contamination. I never double dip! Disposable applicators are used for any tubs, mascara, gel liner, + lips. Creams + liquids are always dispensed on a sanitized palette + scooped up with a disposable spatula. And each wand is disposed of once used. Between clients, I spray 70% rubbing alcohol on my reusable supplies I sanitize my hands before, during, + after each client. And I wear gloves during your skin prep + whenever necessary, or upon client request. Also, I only use the products I bring because you're paying me to give you long-wearing makeup + I only trust my products to deliver on that! More importantly, I know they're sanitized ✨
  • Payment
Once we get our contract signed and the 40% retainer is paid, we're locked in! The remaining 60% is due 3 days prior in three 20% installments. All payments are handled electronically through Honeybook (credit, debit, or bank transfer) with no added fees. If you're interested in booking a Second Look or Glam Touch-Ups, send me a message!

Any parking, valet, or toll fees will be billed to you or your room, or can be paid day-of in cash, Zelle, or Venmo. Any service with a start-time before 7 AM will come with $50/hour fee. LMK if you need to start earlier! For travel, see the travel policy tab! Any federally-recognized holiday weekends are kept to myself to enjoy life 😊 #worklifebalance
  • Travel Policy
On-site services include complimentary travel within a 50-mile radius of 22042. For locations beyond 50 miles, a travel fee of $1.25 per mile (round-trip) will apply. For locations 75+ miles (one-way) from 22042: A minimum travel fee of $150 will apply. Requests must be approved in advance and are subject to availability. For locations 100+ miles (one-way) away: Travel is limited to bridal or group bookings with a minimum service total of $1800. Overnight accommodations may be required and are the client’s responsibility. Read more details in the "Hotel Accommodation" section I value your interest + I do my best to accommodate where possible—but in order to maintain efficiency, energy + work-life balance for each appointment, I limit excessive travel. Thank you for understanding!
  • Photo Release
Because my business thrives on visuals + social media, thank you for understanding that I rely heavily on posting photos + videos on Instagram + my website. Just so I don't bug you, I'll reach out to the photographer to ask for any relevant photos for commercial use. I understand some circumstances require privacy, so you can opt out of the model release by letting me know in writing before the event.
  • Cancellations
Life happens + I get that. I also need to protect myself + my business in these moments. Just a friendly reminder that my retainer is non-refundable + non-transferrable. Because of that, any cancellation prior to your date will not result in a refund up until that point. In the event you need to reschedule your date, no biggie! I allow for one reschedule per booking with a 10% rescheduling fee. Just keep in mind that rescheduling is subject to my availability. Thank you for understanding that as an artist, I need to be compensated for any lost business opportunity caused by cancelling or rescheduling 💗
  • Service Location & Requirements
First and foremost, I need that full address honey! You'll know what time I'm arriving to your location 2 weeks prior. Once I'm there, I'll need: Ample space to set up my kit A table for additional workspace Access to working electrical outlet(s) for use of provided source of light Oh + LMK if there are stairs in my future 😅
  • Hotel Accommodation
If your location is more than a 90-minute drive, a hotel stay will be needed the night before your appointment to ensure I arrive well-rested + on time. The cost of the hotel will depend on the available options in the area. I recommend booking a room at a hotel that’s closest to the getting ready location for convenience (within a 20-minute drive), or in the same hotel as you're staying. You’ll be responsible for covering the cost of a one-night hotel stay, along with the travel fee. I don’t require anything fancy—just the basics, like a bed + a private bathroom. I’ll cover my own food + recreational expenses. Once we confirm the hotel, you can book the room under your name + forward the confirmation email to my inbox here. We'll include all of this in our agreement to make sure everything is clear!
